It essentially teaches you how to THINK about streamlining and refining your systems for maximum efficiency (and thus profits). If you are manufacturing, retail, wholesale, online or offline, you have systems and processes in place to generate customers, fulfill those customers and then manage those customers so they return back to the front door to buy again. Goldratt has an amazing ability to breakdown processes so you can see what may SEEM to be the best path may in fact be the worst thing you can do.
